Chris Gilchrist

Dr. Chris Gilchrist C.Eng FIMMM, Consultant to the Mining Industry, has a wealth of experience to assist your organization in its future mining project or existing operation. Chris has a background in managing major projects, managing mining and mineral processing research, new product development and the operation of large mines. He has served on the Boards of several companies and his areas of speciality include diamonds, potash, heavy minerals, coal and gold. Chris has delivered numerous technical papers to the mining industry over the years in areas including project management, operations management and hydraulic transportation of minerals and backfill.

Chris offers his services in the areas of early project planning (pre-feasibility), contract administration and project management as well as in general operations management. These services are particularly attractive to small-to-medium cap mining companies seeking to take the next step into production or seeking to increase the potential of existing operations.
